NPT Fittings

NPT (National Pipe Thread) fittings for connecting threaded ports on carbies, blocks, sensors, and accessories — separate from the AN flare fittings used for hose lines.

Quick guide:

  • NPT is a tapered thread that seals via tape/sealant — unlike AN/ORB, which seal on a flare or O-ring.
  • Common sizes: 1/8" NPT (small sensors, plugs), 1/4"-3/8" NPT (oil/temp senders), 1/2"-3/4" NPT (larger ports, fuel pumps).
  • Always check your existing port for a stamped size before ordering — NPT sizes are based on nominal pipe size, not the actual thread diameter.
