It improves boost control, response, and consistency across the full RPM range compared to the OEM actuator.

This upgrade increases the working ratio by using a larger diaphragm surface area and revised internal spring calibration. This provides greater mechanical leverage against boost pressure and exhaust backpressure while maintaining smooth, precise actuator movement.

With factory base pressure, the result is faster turbo spool, a stronger and more usable mid-range torque curve, and improved boost holding at higher RPM. Higher boost configurations can further enhance performance, but ECU tuning and recalibration is recommended for optimal results.

⚙️ vIWG N20 BMW - 6inHg Features

Proprietary Silicon Nomex Diaphragm

High-Grade Billet Aluminium Construction

Stainless Steel Rods & Clevis

Turbosmart Locking Collar System

📌 Fitment

BMW N20 engine (2.0L turbo applications)

Factory pneumatic vacuum-operated wastegate system

Direct bolt-on replacement for OEM actuator

📌 Notes

Designed for factory-frame turbocharger setups

Works best with ECU tuning when increasing boost pressure

Improves spool response, torque delivery, and boost stability
